Cold town.Loud games.
Northgale is an esports org out of Minneapolis. We run competitive teams, make content, and throw events for people who'd rather play in a room together than alone.
The teams
Tactical FPS
Five-stack competing in regional pro and open circuits. Our oldest team and the reason the org exists.
Fighting games
A small group of players who travel to open brackets around the Midwest. Also run our weekly locals.
Sim racing
Online league racing plus endurance events. Most of the practice happens on rigs at our space.
Academy
For newer and younger players who want structured coaching. Tryouts twice a year.
What we're about
We started in 2020 as a group chat and a single team. Now there are about 45 of us: players, coaches, producers, editors and the people who make the events happen.
Players get paid, coached and looked after. No one is expected to grind twelve hours a day.
Content is a big part of what we do. Match VODs, behind-the-scenes, tutorials, and streams most nights of the week.
And we're local on purpose. Most of what we run happens in the Twin Cities, for people who live here.
